In the numerous office and public space projects we completed for SOHO, graphic design within the space has always been a key component of the overall strategy. Compared to structural transformation and volumetric form, surfaces are more flexible and more directly shape user perception. In highly standardized office environments, atmosphere is often influenced less by architecture itself than by the treatment of walls and floors.
Rhythmic geometric patterns reinforce order and logic; optical three-dimensional graphics add visual depth; expressive color blocks and natural motifs introduce a lighter, more dynamic atmosphere. Through a systematic wallpaper and carpet strategy, we reshaped the overall ambiance, defined clear zoning, and created a younger, more open, and creative environment. Distinct graphic languages were embedded into different functional areas. Pattern selection not only strengthens visual identity but also supports spatial differentiation, allowing users to intuitively sense transitions while moving through the space.
Clear zoning logic, strong visual language, and a measured sense of playfulness together establish an office environment that is both efficient and inspiring—introducing light rhythm within rational order to stimulate creativity in daily work.
