Son Antem is a spacious mansion, built with solid craftsmanship yet defined by a simple Mallorcan style and an outdated technical infrastructure. The international, Mallorca-based client — a family of five — sought to upgrade the property to meet the needs of contemporary living, improving its daily functionality while preserving the main structure of the house.
AnySCALE was appointed to deliver a complete facelift, including technical modernization, full interior design, and furniture selection.
Within the existing framework, we reorganized the family spaces to be both functional and generous, creating a more open connection between the interior and the garden. The formerly dark basement was reimagined as a spa, while part of the horse stables was converted into a fitness area with adjoining guest facilities. The bedrooms retained their original size and location but were enhanced with full-height windows to bring in more daylight and a greater sense of openness.
The interiors were conceived to evoke a pure and comfortable atmosphere. Warm shades of white serve as a serene backdrop for subtle color accents introduced through carefully curated furniture pieces, primarily from Spanish and Italian brands. Larger openings strengthen the dialogue between inside and outside, while a holistic lighting concept ensures warmth and comfort during the evenings.
